The course is made up of several units, these are flexible and tailored to meet the needs of the learners.
Anyone in the transport industry who wants to improve their writing and basic IT skills
There are no formal entry requirements, just an enthusiasm to learn
Units normally include:
- Communication and your job in the transport sector
- Proof reading and revising writing for accuracy and meaning
- Using correct grammar
- Letter writing
- Basic Microsoft Word
- Basic Microsoft Excel
Additional units are incorporated via discussion with Union Learning Represenatives, to meet the particular needs of the individuals
Training may take place at either Tower Hamlets College or the depot, depending upon what suits the employer best
