For men and woman who wish to use their counseling skills in work settings, such as nurses, social workers, teachers, advice workers and those who need to use advanced communication skills in the workplace.
Candidates will need to have completed a Counselling Concepts course or equivalent and to have an interview with the course tutors
The course is based on the Person Centred model and focuses on:
- The counselling relationshiop
- Counselling skills
- Creating a counselling skills professional framework
- Working with difference - anti discriminatory practice
- Personal growth, self development and self awareness
