Certificate in Personal Financial Planning (IFS level 2)

Understand your personal finances better and get to grips with the terminology used by the financial services sector on this engaging 9 wek course.

Attending 2 days per week, you will quickly make head and tails of the cash in your pocket, whilst developing your IT and employment skills. The course covers an introduction to the world of banking and money mangement, it then goes on to investigate:

  • Savings and investments
  • Borrowing and debt management

To assess your competence in decison making we will give you 3 exams that ask you to make decisions for case study individuals about what they should do with their cash. When you successfully complete the course you can add this ifs School of Finance qualification to your CV and think about entry level jobs in administrtaion in banking, insurance or accountancy, OR you may wish to continue to level 3 course.

Who is this course for?: 

You want to make the most of your money and have one or two days a week to dedicate to study.
You might also be interested in working in the financial services industry and need some insight to the language and products used by the sector.

Entry Requirements: 

The CPFP is equivalent to a GCSE and you will need to demonstrate English at level 1.
We will assess your English and Maths levels before you can start the course.

Mandatory Units: 

The course is made up of 3 units. You will pass all of them to collect your qualification.
