Diploma for Financial Advisers

This qualification is intended for financial advisers who wish to enhance their prospects by demonstrating a high level of knowledge and skills.  The level 4 full qualification is compliant with the FSA requirement that all advisers be qualified to this level by the end of 2012.

This is a challenging and relevant course that builds on existing adviser expertise and reflects what advisers actually do.  It is based on real-life scenarios.

The Financial Services Regulations and Ethics (FSRE) unit includes core areas of

• the structure of the UK financial services industry and its role in serving the consumer;
• the legal responsibilities of regulated advisers;
• the concepts and importance of risk;
• ethical behaviour and the FSA's principles-based approach;
• the Code of Ethics and professional standards;
• the essential skills when advising clients

Who this course is for: 

Financial Advisers with a level 3 qualification and one year's experience.

Where this course might take me: 

This course is compliant with the FSA's Retail Distribution Review and completion of all the units will enable advisers to continue to practise after 2012.
