There is a high level of flexibility in the content of the course - each course can be tailored to meet the employer's specific needs. Different levels of English will also have differing requirements
For those employees whose standard of English is hampering their ability to do their job
There are no entry requirements, as there are a range of levels available, from very basic English to advanced - this is determined by a pre-course 'assessment', which takes around 20 minutes
All courses will cover these four areas of English:
Speaking
Listening
Reading
Writing
Training may take place at either Tower Hamlets College or the employer's premises, depending on the requirements of the employer and number of employees undertaking training
